James Nathan
CEO and Executive Director
James is the CEO of Nucleus Investment Management and has been tasked with building, managing, and leading the company’s growth. His experience includes originating and financing property transactions, as well as developing and managing portfolios.
Having gained exposure to various real estate investment and development strategies, he has a thorough understanding of the complexities, opportunities, and risks across retail, commercial, industrial, residential, hospitality, and alternative investments.
Prior to joining NIM, James held numerous senior roles in prominent private and listed companies both in South Africa and the Middle East.
Derek Stanford
CFO and Executive Director
Derek is CFO of Nucleus Investment Management and is responsible for group reporting, compliance and treasury. He also provides strategic oversight to our portfolio companies.
He brings core expertise to the team from his extensive experience in private equity structuring, fund raising and reporting, serving in multiple operational and leadership roles throughout his career.
